If you have a Windows 64-bit operating system, you can install ArcGIS for Desktop Background Geoprocessing (64-bit) after installing the software. However, some background geoprocessing tasks can use 64-bit processors. Note to users with Windows 64-bit operating systems ArcGIS 10.6 as a whole runs on a Windows 32-bit operating system. Remember that you need to have network access to in order to run the software. You’re all done – ArcGIS 10.6 should launch from your machine. Double click ArcGIS_Desktop_106_161544 to start the installation.Information on SRA is available in the OIT Knowledge Base. If you are off-campus, please use SRA to connect your computer to the network. PLEASE NOTE: your computer needs to be on the Princeton network in order to mount the licensed Products ArcGIS directory.When prompted to enter a network password, authenticate as PRINCETON. Paste the path into the folder text field, check Connect using different credentials, and click Finish. Click the Start button, right-click on Computer and select map network drive.
